These are to me the Top 10 Weirdest but creative Restaurants there are in the world. Lets check it out :
1. Nyotaimori Restaurant ( Cannibal ).
-Location : Japan.
Japanese people are known for their ways of living and this one restaurant has become a unique part of their life!
This restaurant is called 'Nyotaimori' which means ' Plate of Female's Body .' What is served here is not the question as the restaurant serves the standard Japanese local food which are Sushis & Sashimis. What is interesting is on WHAT the food is served on; a NAKED FEMALE BODY! Don't panic just yet. It's not real. The ' naked body ' is made out of wood and they usually are served on an ' Autopsy Table '. So customers have the chance to do an ' autopsy ' on the dummy's body to take their food. What's even more interesting is that once you begin to 'cut' the body, blood starts oozing out. Even the internal organs can be eaten. So this restaurant gives you the feel of being a cannibal.
2. Marton Theme Restaurant ( Toilet ).
-Location : Taiwan.
Trust in Taiwanese to do these kind of things eh? Off all the weird things that humans can do, this must be the most worrying theme yet.lol.
Marton Theme, which is situated in Taiwan and as the title explains, a Toilet-themed restaurant has become one of the most popular restaurants amongst the locals.
As the name suggests, customers have the chance ( if they like ), to sit on chairs and eat in plates shaped like toilet bowls! Yes, toilet bowls. The one that you sit or squat on to release your ' leavings .' But they are not serving you in the toilet bowls from home. They crafted new designs only shpaed like toilet bowls. I don't think they would recycle toilet bowls from home to serve people. For tables, they used bath tub designs.
According to Eric Wang, owner, they don't only serve food, but even laughter! He says that with customers coming to the restaurant, they tend to laugh and get excited by just looking at the restaurant. He even added that according to the customers, the more weirder the idea is, the more customers will love!
3. Ithaa-Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa ( Underwater ).
-Location : Maldives.
This restaurant is the first of it's kind. The first Underwater Restaurant was officiated by Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa on April 2007. Ithaa, which means PEARL in Maldives, is 5 meters underwater below the waves of the Indian Pacific and it is surrounded by beautiful Corals and fishes. Customers get to enjoy the beautiful underwater scenery sitting from one point, or even at a 270 degrees panoramic view!
This innovative and first of it's kind restaurant was a part of the United States worth $5million to rebuild Rangalifinolhu Island, one of two islands pertaining in Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa.
4. Dinner In The Sky.com ( Suspended ).
-Location : Based in Belgium.
Dinner In The Sky is for people who expect more from their restaurants than four concrete walls and a solid floor. Instead, diners perch around a massive table, which is suspended from a crane high up in the air.
It sounds completely insane, but as the most unusual - and entirely legal - way of getting high over dinner, it is the new must-do experience for the super-rich and adventure-hungry who yearn for something a little more extreme at mealtimes.
Although based in Belgium, the "restaurant" can be driven to any destination in the world.
There have already been dining events in Paris and Brussels, while New York and Niagara Falls are on the agenda.
What's more, for a mere £10,000, they'll drive it over to Britain for you to host your own sky-high dinner party.
David Ghysels, the jolly Belgian organiser, says: "It's a little surreal, but we realised people were getting bored with just going to the same old restaurants. They wanted to try something different. So we decided to push the boundaries. The sky's the limit!"

5. Dark Restaurant ( Darkness ).
-Location : Beijing,China.
The first total darkness restaurant theme was launched officially on 23 December 2006, with its interior totally painted black! Customers will be attended by waiters and waitresses who will wear Night-Vision goggles to guide them to their respective seats, in TOTAL DARKNESS! It's like you're in the movies, but this time you can't see even your own hand. If you think you want to light up your way by turning on your handphone or any kind of light, you can forget you intentions, because any devices containing light will be restricted from bringing in! Even the food served are not to bee seen. The objective of this Darkness concept? Theoretically, when one of our senses are shut ( in this case our vision ), our bodies tend to rely on our other senses like our sense of smell and taste and that tends to make our food much more delicious.
6. The Redwoods Treehouse ( Trees ).
-Location : Warkworth,Auckland.
The challenge issued by Yellow to Pacific Environments, Architects, was to design a restaurant in a tree.
The result is a striking pod-shaped structure built ten metres high in a redwood tree near Warkworth, north of Auckland. Access to the Treehouse is provided by an elevated tree-top walkway. Parts of the walkway are built using redwood milled on site. The vertical fins and slats are built from sustainably grown pine and poplar.
The restaurant operated from December 2008 to February 2009 as part of a Yellow advertising campaign.
At the conclusion of the campaign, ownership of the Treehouse passed to the landowner. They are now in the process of obtaining a resource consent to use the venue for private/corporate functions and events, rather than as a restaurant.
The Treehouse seats 30 guests or can accommodate 50 guests standing for less formal gatherings. But it would be awesome to see this concept to keep on going.
7. Cabbages & Condoms Restaurant ( Condoms ).
-Location : Thailand.
This particular restaurant is called ' Cabbages & Condoms .' It's one of many restaurant that's operating in Thailand. Their interior is decorated with condoms other than their carpet which is printed with condoms. If other restaurants offer mints after eating, these humble waiters and waitresses will serve a bowl of condoms for their customers after a nice meal. What a way to start off an activity after dinner eh?
Despite all that, they not only have a 'fancy' restaurant, but they also donate half of their profits to Population and Community Development Association ( PDA ).
8. D.S Music Restaurant ( Medics ).
-Location : Taipei, Taiwan.
I guess Taiwanese wont stop at just one eh? What's creative about this restaurant? Well, for starters, their waitresses are all dressed up as nurses. Don't think it'll be too bad for the guys eh? They even serve drinks in IV drips. The owner got this idea when he was hospitalized one day, and the warm and kind treatment he received from the nurses, touched his heart. That's when the idea came up.
9. In-Jail Restaurant( Jail ).
-Location : Italy.
Well, the title says it all. A unique restaurant in a very isolated place- jail. Even though the waiters, chef and bartenders are all convicted criminals, robbers and everything, customers still find the restaurant a unique place to dine. Handled by Bruno who is sentenced 25 years for stabbing his girlfriend 25 times in public at broad daylight.
Let's just say, it's always fully-booked!
10. Robot Restaurant( Robot ).
-Location : China.
Don't be alarmed. Not real robots. It's a title given to these owner of this restaurant by customers. They were astounded that husband and wife works so hard non-stop 6am to 3am the following day. But a reporter from Today Morning Post, revealed the awesome secret behind all that hard work.
It turns out that the owners are both twins husband and wife! SO the first couple works for the 1st shift and the 2nd couple will take over once the 1st shift is over. So in a way, customers will keep on looking at the same husband and wife all the time!
